I honestly had difficulty rating this book because the story was bonkers! If you like thrillers (which I do), this one was very fast-paced and kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end of the book; however, it is VERY dark, so be sure to check trigger warnings/reviews if you plan to read!

Wow! There were moments where I absolutely wanted to SOB. The adversity and survivalist mentality Miley adapted to throughout her journey was insane. The best part about this book to me was the friendship Miley formed with Reyna. They learn to trust and be better together despite the circumstances that they’re dealing with. I was even more intrigued to find out the book was based off true events about Kari Swenson. Recommend 10000x
