Loved this book - so shocked it was inspired by a true story. Gave an insight into a type of person I haven’t read much about before and really loved Mary/Rayna’s character - especially her ending.

Okay I only read half but this book was so dam annoying. I am realizing this author isn’t for me. There first person emotions, the drawn out descriptions of how they’re feeling in the moment isn’t good. I’m just…not enjoying these anymore. But marking as read because I got half way through.

Noelle W. Ihli writes really good thrillers! I loved the stuck in the wilderness vibes of this one, and her books are really quick reads which I really like! The sports stuff, like the Olympics stuff felt a little unnecessary but I read on the authors note briefly that it’s inspired by something, I didn’t really read it. Also, the stuff with Miley and her mom and that accident felt a little random but it was still a really good book

Glad my sister passed along Gray After Dark. It was a quick thrilling read! I hadn’t heard about Kari Swenson before without this book I may not ever had. I deep dove into hearing her story. I will definitely read more by Noelle W. Ihli
