This book gripped me from the very first page and didn’t let go. Gray After Dark is a dark, psychological thriller that follows 24-year-old Olympic biathlete Miley Petrowski, who takes a summer job at a remote mountain lodge in Idaho’s Frank Church Wilderness after a tragic accident puts her dreams on hold. During a morning run, she’s abducted by two off-grid survivalists and held captive in a secluded mountain cabin. What unfolds is a chilling, heart-pounding story of survival, resilience, and the desperate race to be found.

Told in alternating POVs between Miley’s intense and terrifying fight to stay alive and her best friend Brent’s relentless search to bring her home, this book was impossible to put down. I devoured it in two days. The villains were genuinely terrifying, the pacing was perfection, and the atmosphere was so vivid I felt like I was trapped in those woods with her.
