Deepens this arc, with the highlight of the art by Casagrande and De Latorre a two-page action sequence near the end of issue #10 drawn as a spread across both pages in the style of a film panels, capturing the Black Widow in spectacularly agile action, with action panels, askew on the pages and superimposed over the monochrome "film cells," serving to accentuate various moments in the fight. Bravo!

A decent read about Black Widow forming a team to take down a villain that’s seemingly creating new super powered beings.
A stand out is that this comic has one of the most interesting comic panels I’ve seen that really emphasizes Black Widow’s acrobatic skill.

This was a really good follow up to the first volume which I absolutely loved. I really enjoyed how they approached Natasha’s grief for what she lost. The relationships between all of the characters as well were compelling, and I think Lucy was a solid addition.
That being said, it didn’t quite capture me the same way as the first volume. I’m not exactly sure why but it wasn’t near enough to make me dislike it. My biggest issue off the top of my head was the villain, as I just didn’t find him all that interesting. It does look like there may be more to come in that department though so I don’t want to jump the gun just yet.

An interesting follow-up to Vol. 1, shaped by the echoes of Nat's false life, but largely charting a new chapter in life as she returns to the streets to protect those who are in danger. With banter, adventure, and an engaging cast of characters, Thompson continues delivering an exciting set of adventures for Marvel's famous spy.
