Bit of a meh read - I didn't feel any connection between either of the couples and the first novella just felt kinda stalker-ish.

Read for the 12 Days of Queermas Readathon!

‘A Mistletoe Moment’ is a novella about two women in their late twenties. They meet when Sam’s company is having a Christmas party at the bar Tilda is bar tending at. They have a kiss under a mistletoe. Later they realize they never got each other’s information and spend the rest of the story trying to find each other again.
I thought the premise of this one was pretty cute. Sam and Tilda don’t spend a lot of time together but I was left smiling and feeling hopeful for them. If nothing else, they help each other put things into perspective. A sweet and funny read for sure.
‘Stock Take’ is a short story about Emily and Kat. Emily has just received an unwanted promotion in the electronics department at a store, and just two weeks before Christmas too! Kat is a new employee at the store after her mom dies and she loses the job she had at her mother’s shop. This was very cute with their flirting and sweet romance.

2 great Christmas stories

I love Natasha’s stories they are so much fun and realistic. I read Stock Take in the Winter Hearts collection and loved it. A Mistletoe Moment is new for me and it was so much fun to read. Sam and Tilda searching the city for each other only to end up where it began with a kiss under the mistletoe. Two sweet holiday romances in one book.
