This book was boring.

A book genre/author I probably wouldn't choose. For me it started a bit deep and slow, I did put it down and come back to it a week later after deciding I will give it ago. Once I had picked the book back up I couldn't put it down. I love Blue and you end up completely rallying for him. The connection between him and Ginny is lovely and makes you feel so strongly for them both.

A heavy book dealing with pedophilia, suicide, drunk driving, grief, homelessness, and the healing it takes to move forward in you life. A true definition of found family and kindness making a diffrence

I always feel centered after finishing a DS book. She has a knack of bringing a heart breaking story to a conclusion that leaves you with maybe not a happy ending but feeling it ended just right.

As my first Danielle Steel novel, I wasn't sure what to expect. I enjoyed the book for the most part, I just wish Steel would have pulled back on the repetition. If you took a drink every time Steel said Ginny "didn't care" about something (especially her looks), you'd be in a coma before the third chapter. I also didn't quite understand why Ginny was so shocked about the reason behind Blue's dislike of the church and priests. Since she was once a reporter herself, it seems like she wouldn't have been so naive.
