I really didn't think I was gonna enjoy this book that much because coming-of-age stories are not typically my cup of tea.
It was incredibly surprising to find out though, that the more I read, the more hooked I became.
It is sometimes slow, and I have to admit that I much prefered the LA chapters to the forest chapters, but it was definitely a powerful story.
It helped me, as a 17 year old, understand and value a lot of life's aspcets. Would recommend to someone that really enjoys this type of genre.

I won this book in a giveaway here on StoryGraph. And while it is not a book I would normally buy for myself, I really enjoyed it. It took me back to being in HS and all the craziness that goes on in your head.
