I liked this book better than the last, as it was a really emotional and complicated second chance story. I appreciated Sydney's character so much, how she pushed Declan for what she wanted but also was making plans of her own. He really had to get his head out of his ass and allow himself to be happy, and it was an angsty journey for sure. On to the next brother's book!

Just a terrible book. There is no story here so the characters do things repeatedly - the same thing over and over. The same stupid thing repeatedly. Just utter nonsense.

I love Corinne’s writing so much, but this was just not it. I should’ve DNF’d at 20%. It got dragged waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much for no reason. Declan needed to get his head out of his ass and Sydney needed to stop being so forgiven and just let Declan grovel.
