I've read a few books by this author now and I have to say thst even though I love the stories, the writing isn't my favorite. It's not necessarily the style, it's just how the story is told seems immature I guess? I don't know how to explain it. This book was good, but felt extremely repetitive. Half the book is Declan trying to convince himself, other people, and Sydney how he doesn't deserve love and happiness, doesn't deserve Sydney, he'll never be good enough, he doesn't want a family, etc, etc. It gets old. I get that big decisions have a lot of back and forth and this is likely pretty realistic to someone's thought process, but it gets boring reading about it. It was just the same thing over and over again.

However.....I do remember enjoying the first book and I really like all the characters so I will still read the next book when it comes out lol

Fight for Me is an emotionally driven second chance romance between childhood sweethearts, Declan Arrowood and Sydney Hastings. After reading Come Back for Me, I knew I needed their story. Heartbreaking yet hopeful this book definitely took me on a whirlwind full of emotions. I'm not even going to pretend I didn't have tears streaming down my cheeks. I mean of course I did. It was a Corinne Michaels book after all.

Declan and Sydney have an undeniable connection. It's very evident how much they love each other; even after so much time apart. While I enjoyed most of their push and pull, it became a tad bit frustrating how long it was taking for them to figure their situation out. It started becoming repetitive. However, this didn't take away from the passion and flow of the story.

It feels so good being back in Sugarloaf. I am seriously loving these Arrowood men. I can't wait to read Sean and Devney's story next.

Loved this book so much! The story was everything. Second chance romance, fight for me, broken hearts and then a sweet HEA. Declan and Sydney are amazing together and they share such a deep bond over the years. Love all the Arrowwood brothers. Can't wait for the next book!

So many years omfg. I'm glad Sydney and Declan finally got their HEA but damn that was a rough one. Devney and Sean are going to have an even harder one.

Declan left his home town and vowed never to return even though he left his heart behind, so when his inheritance depends on his return for six months both Declan and Sydney cannot help but feel the love that never got closure. But can you be friends with the one person who owns your heart? And will Sydney be able to let him return to his other life with the secret that she holds close to her heart? This story had the perfect amount of emotions. I fell in love with the character right away and only wanted them to get their HEA. This will be one story you will not want to put down and at the same time wil not want it to end.

Oh gawd, the waterworks definitely flowed in this one. Like, literally the last few chapters had my tears flowing steadily because the feels is so real and hit me right in the heart. Ugh!

Fight for Me is the second book in this series of stand-alone, second chance, small town romance with surprise baby trope in it. I loved everything in this book- from its flawed and broken characters, fluid story line and its secondary characters. I admit, Declan made me want to tear my hair out because of his stubbornness but of course, it's half of Arrowood charm I guess. Sydney is definitely my girl. I like her steadfast, strong and resilient character. Her firm resolve though still heartbroken, to work everything things out is admirable and relatable in this time and age. I loved how the author wrapped things up and left us some teaser for Sean's story.
