The book just never quite took off after the abduction. I was really excited to read this book after the first one and the plot looked like it would be a whole lot better. But it just kind of flat lined and every thing that you read was like 'oh, ok' instead of 'oh-my-goodnes'. So yeah, I liked it well enough but in the end it was just an ok read.
