Almost DNF’ed this one because I got so annoyed of being inside Feyre’s head. The last 15% really did it for me though and convinced me to continue with the series.

for as much as i didn't like either love interest at the beginning, i did like rhys by the end... enough. i loved getting to see feyre actually take part in the action now, rather than be constantly sidelined for being too weak to tangle with fae.
however i never want to see groups of men/women referred to as "males" or "females" ever again lmao. or reading what characters growl/snarl at each other. i wanted way more worldbuilding. there was so much banter that was... not very good and just added unnecessary pages. i got so tired of how at each others' throats they all were all the time. however, i did like it overall for the plot, somewhat, but also the world. i would have loved to hear more about the different types of faeries, and how their magic works!
