Idk I found Kai too pushy and kind of one note, and I just wasn’t into his vibe. I also didn’t really feel like Olivia had much of a personality, either, unlike the other FMCs in Natasha Bishop’s books. And despite all the flashback scenes to Olivia and Kai’s relationship, I felt like I was being told they had this deep love vs. them actually having it (which was an issue I had in the previous book in this series, too). I usually enjoy second chance romances, but this just didn’t work for me as much as I wanted it to 😭 I’m all for spice, but it got to the point where there was so much spice that the plot just kind of stopped existing.

I absolutely loved everything about this book! Kai truly is a man written by a woman and Olivia deserved nothing less! The dad had no real motive but that’s just life sometimes, we don’t know why ppl do some things.

I just love how Kai loved in Olivia.  He so deeply and unconditionally loved her flaws and all. And let’s talk about a protector and being her rock.  I just loved this book.

THISSSSSS is what I’m talking about! This is a second chance romance between two people who met when they were 12 and became middle/high school sweethearts and only broke things off thanks to one of the worst fathers on the planet???? It was so fun seeing Kai come out of his shell after the first two books, and one thing Natasha does so well is incorporating the friends and family of the main characters and this was no exception. Also definitely the spiciest of the three books so far.
