Wow, I do think Grace Draven is a powerhouse where romance is concerned. She made me feel giddy butterflies, the steamy moments, and longing. The ending satisfied that longing, making me cry and then jump with joy 🫶

I fell in love with Grace Draven's Wraith King Series earlier in the year and finally got around to trying this series. I enjoyed this one just as much. MoC has an interesting and somewhat complex fantasy world that is balanced perfectly with a romantic aspect. Martise was my favorite from the opening scenes; she has a quiet but strong personality. Silhara grew on me by the closing, although he was such a hard character to like in the beginning. I cannot wait to read the follow up book. Grace Draven has quickly become a favorite in this genre.

I will read this women's grocery list if she gave it to me. While i liked her other series more, I still get sucked into her writing. i love how grumpy the hero is in this and how the heroine is more than she seems.
