I know I say this about EVERY SINGLE book of Victoria’s, but this truly might be my favorite Sikthand and Sophie are just…. *chefs kiss*. No words. Victoria served cunt up with this one. Not a crumb left. I binged it so hard and now I’m in a deep, sad hole of despair that it’s over and there’s no more Sikthand content.

Is Sikthand unhealthily obsessed with Sophia to the point of stalking? Absolutely. Was I eating up the last quarter of this book, especially when he comes to his rescue specifically because of his obsession? Also yes.

This series just gets better and better. Honestly the only ding is that I thought

it was a little silly to have all that tension about the mirror and then she just didn't care.

but whatever I still loved every second.

Also can we get some appreciation for the audiobook narrator? Single male narrator for a dual POV book is usually an automatic no for me, but this guy knocks it out of the park every time. A certain line read toward the end literally brought me to tears it was so gut-wrenching. Highly recommended.
