Their Captive Mate (Tharan Warrior Ménage #1) by Kallista Dane – I had a hard time getting into this one because the first 1/3 of the book I wanted to smack the MMCs with a two by four! But I really liked this once they got their heads out of their butts! Happy Reading!

Kinda rough how she was treated though I understood the mens POV. This book takes place over months and the punishment they put her through is callous and mean. I didn't really notice if or when they apologized for mistreating her so it couldn't have been very prominent. The steamy scenes were a lot less than the other books I had previously lead and there were some jump forward points that kind of gave an outline versus a true story telling. That being said I know this series improves later on because I've read several before picking up this one.

I love me some guilty heroes but the heroine kinda let this go too fast. I am not one who needs it to be dragged out for my own amusement but I need to see her process it before forgiveness is handed out, and that didn't really happen. It was distracting for me for the last half of the book or so.

Good book

This was a good menagerie story. Characters were well fleshed out. I can't wait to see what happens to the rest of the women as they get rescued.
