Gorgeous painted artwork from Olivier Ledroit alongside a by-the-numbers Pat Mills story – revisiting ideas that are more poetically expressed in his Slaine: The Horned God with Simon Bisley. Sha is a manifestation of the female principle wreaking revenge for the oppression of women throughout history. Mills's feminism is presented in primary colours, and sits strangely within a Heavy Metal comic with a certain amount of cheesecake. However, the digs at the hypocrisy of religious morality are pretty funny.
