The first in a spin-off series to the Love Cliches series has been pretty good. I love the neurodiverse representation in the male lead, who has ADHD, and his sister, who is autistic. This is a good example of the trope relating to “the one that got away”. It had a great balance of emotional moments and light-hearted ones. I loved the young child the female lead cares for. The premise was also interesting - I’m not usually a small-town romance reader but because of this being a spin off from a series I read and enjoyed, I thought I’d give it a go. It was better than I expected, honestly.
