4.25 stars. I initially loved this book so much. And the fact that Abby herself had kidney disease makes it so much more real. But the last 20% of this book annoyed the life out of me.

I hate, and I mean REALLY HATE surprise pregnancy and miscommunication tropes. And the end of this book saw both of those in multiples. A grand total of 3 shocking pregnancy reveals and several misunderstandings in the last 15% of the book and it just disappointed me.

I don’t want to linger on it though, because other than that I loved this book. I love Jacob with my whole heart and the way Brianna cared for him. They were so considerate and harmless to each other. Their relationship was goals, but in a realistic way. In a way that anyone could have that relationship if both people tried.

I’d still recommend this book and it’s one of my favorite this year.

What a fantastic way to kick off this month. This story is adorable and an addictive romance. It’s oozing with sweetness and vulnerability. I devoured it and can’t wait to read the others in the series.

I don’t know if I loved this book because I truly love it or because I have anxiety and also just finished chemo. But it was the perfect read for this moment in my life. Cannot recommend it enough.

Great tension and slow burn romance. The characters felt so real and their interactions were so funny.
The twist at the end felt sudden and wrapped quite quickly

Ummmm this was the best romance book I've read in forever. Loved everyone and (almost) everything!

Maybe this just hit me at the right moment - because romance is not usually my favorite genre - but this one was just the perfect combo of funny and 🌶️ and sweet, I just loved it. My first ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ of the year!
