4.5!
I just love Oraya and Mische and Raihn so much. This was a bit slower than Serpent but I loved how much backstory we got! I breezed through the second half of the book because I couldn’t get enough of it
I’m sad this duet is over but really excited to see where the rest of the Nyaxia world books go!!

Deus ex machina in all the laziest ways. I really loved the first book and the characters are still great, but the plot felt rushed and convenient. The world expanded only slightly in a way that left me wanting to know more, but without any additional information. Still really like the characters and the world, I just think it could’ve been more dynamically thought out.

Well! What can I say? I devoured the first book and the same with this one, I was absolutely lost in this world and I just wanted more!
I am so pleased how things turned out for Oraya and Raihn they deserved it and so much more for what they had been through. I was expecting a little more from the gods blood like with the teeth but I did like how Oraya gave it back to try and save Raihn which of course she was going to do ANYTHING!
I did feel that it has been left open where we could come back to this world in the future, there seems to be some more stories a foot or even background stories of some of the other characters but all in all

Idk, maybe this genre just really isn’t my cup of tea. I don’t read a whole lot of smut but I couldn’t get into the use of “slit” lol

I really enjoyed this duology. I liked the FMC and MMC and I liked how their relationship developed. I also found Carissa Broadbent's writing style really pleasing. ...looking forward to reading more about this world.
