Luna's bonus story at the end genuinely moved me so much - absolutely adore her and her design in it.

I love the Outer Senshi and getting to see them in action (including Saturn) is awesome. The core content here is a bit short, going up to the end of the arc, but it includes two extras. One focuses on Chibi USA (lame) but the other is the Luna-Snow Princess Kaguya that is the base material for the Sailor Moon Super S movie, and which I have always loved.

This is my favorite volume so far. I am absolutely in love with Chibi-Usa and Hotaru’s love story. There was less random diatribe about villain inner politics and more character building and heart this time. Good good. (I can’t believe I loved Sailor Moon this much growing up and never read/watched this far in the series. Though to be fair, the anime was only on tv through R and there was no manga at all published in the US back then)

Since this volume continued the cliffhanger of the arc from the last it was pretty quick to jump right back into the fold.
