Meh. There were parts of this story that were underdeveloped that I believe would have made the book better. Also the last 20% of the book felt so chaotic and rushed. It was just okay for me.

I didn't really know what I was getting into when I started this book. Just started to read it with no context as to what was going to happen. I loved some characters and hated some characters and was surprised by others. Took a bit to get going and to see what was going to happen but it was entertaining and a quick read

What an interesting topic of a book and it actually was intriguing. It is a cool idea and makes you truly wonder if this ever happened.

A quick read
This novel was enjoyable enough. The plot has too many convenient reveals and things wrap up so neatly. Readers do get a little glimpse into the world of publishing. Recommend for a quick vacation read.

- Plot- or character-driven? A mix
- Strong character development? It's complicated
- Loveable characters? No
- Diverse cast of characters? No
- Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

DNF @ 69. I like that there is a 40 something character and the vibe of the book is good. I just didn't like the husband. So unless he undergoes a giant transformation, this book is not for me.

I enjoyed Zibby Owen’s Blank about a best-selling author struggling to come up with her next book idea. Pippa gets an idea from her son for a blank book - a book with no words that would be a statement on the publishing industry.
Pippa is a mom juggling all the things: dealing with her publisher, staying connected with a group of college friends, struggling with her marriage.
She deals with pressure by visiting open houses and posts about them on her secret Instagram account. But snooping in other houses leads her to a secret that could turn her life upside down.
I enjoyed the characters and writing, and found this to be a quick, funny read.
I received an ARC copy of this book from Little A and NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

Was it the best written book I’ve ever read? No. But it was a book I hated to put down from beginning to end. It was a book where you were rooting for the main character the entire way. You either fell in love with - or despised - the people in her life and it was an extremely satisfying ending. The only problem is that I want more Pippa! Her story shouldn’t end with this book. She’s got a lot more to tell!
