It feel like I'm too freely giving these books 5 stars but at the same time they really do deserve it. Technically two series in one the Legend series has become quite the Epic and finally the history I've been waiting for has come with answers and more questions! On to the final book of the series right away.

This book got a bit longwinded and slow at some points. Then it jumps around from many different perspectives al really quickly so it’s hard to keep focus on the story.

But it’s setting up for a great finish.

Another fantastic entry in the First Empire series. Loved it! Yes it ends on a cliffhanger, but the final book kickstarts early in 2020, so not long now till we hit the ending. Man, some really great scenes in this one though, and some REALLY in depth dives into the history and pantheon of Elan. Sullivan, you are a wonder sir!

Can’t wait to see how this series wraps up. I know I complained the last instalment was missing something and that was because it was setting up this second arc. Finally getting some massive reveals and the stakes have been upped.

The pacing on this book felt a little off. A little slow, and some of the foreshadowing/predictions/foretellings took more of the suspense out of the book for me as well. It wasn't bad, and I like the direction it's going, but I just wasn't super invested. Looking forward to the conclusion though.

Very disappointed by the first half of the book as in just 10 pages you are given an entire books worth of information that could have been spread throughout the series to make the reveals more meaningful. The second half of the novel, however, more than makes up for it as it seems almost every character has a meaningful character moment that had either been anticipated through the series for some or a complete shock in some other characters. Great novel.
