Woah. Just woah.

I have been been an follower of Sullivan's Legends since I picked up Age of Myth in the bargain section at Books-A-Million and Oh. My. Goodness. I had no idea what I was in for.

I have cried, I have laughed, and I have wanted to throw almost every copy at the wall because of Sullivan's love of cliffhangers.

Like. Seriously? I both love and hate him for it.

In any case, I am beyond eager to learn what happens to everyone I've come to love (yes, even Tressa, she's definitely grown on me) and also slightly depressed that there's one book left.

I suppose this means I will have to start reading the Riyria Revelations and the Riyria Chronicles to get my full of Sullivan's writing. <3

Wow! What a cliffhanger! This series just keeps getting better & better. If you haven't been reading this series & your a fantasy lover all I can ask is what have you been doing with your life?

Do NOT listen to the Graphic Audio version of this. It’s truly offensive. An aural nightmare.

This is the only book in this series, or even by this author, that I thought was just fine . It was interesting to explore the afterlife of this world, but it very much felt like a book that needed to connect other books, rather than one that had its own satisfying conclusion. Nor were there any character arcs I cared about, just more setup. That said, the setup is still interested, so I'm eager to read the final book in this series.
