One of my favourite Christie’s.  A decently twisty plot with a satisfying conclusion.

It is very much of it’s time though - mid-1950s - so the portrayal of students of non-British nationalities are a bit ham-fisted and uncomfortably near to racist on a few occasions.

A smidge fanciful, but still a fun final twist!

Christie is just a delight to read. The pacing of this book is lovely. I enjoyed how she poked gentle fun at all of her characters, including her main character, even down to their name choices. The mystery itself was twisty and could not have been solved with just the facts in the book. But I enjoyed walking alongside Poirot as he figured it out.
