Very funny and a bit more out-there than the previous compilations.

I have all 4 books from this series and in my very unpopular opinion it’s going downhill.

If in the past these funny comic strips were focused on being weird and quirky, right now it’s mostly about cats and social media. That’s pop and there’s nothing odd about it. Unless we try to push for the idea that everyone on earth is an oddball and steal the spotlight from those who are actually different, not fitting in with the rest, neurodiverse, etc

I’m not sure if author is selling out to gain more audience and thus make more sales, or have they genuinely changed however I find it hard to relate and be entertained by at this point.

My only hope that this was only a hyper fixation phase and next book returns to its roots.

** I received a free ARC from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review. **

I love Sarah's books and this one is no different! The only negative for this book is that I wish there were more pages!

I related to these comics so hard, at times I felt personally attacked but enjoyed it at the same time. I think the art style is super cute, and I wish there had been more comics to read. I haven't read any of her other collections, and now I have to. I definitely recommend picking this one out when It's released in November.

I received an ARC copy of this book from NetGalley

I really loved the first three books in this series so I'm not sure if this is a case of this book actually being not as 'good' as those [I found the repeated use of the whole 'millenials vs gen-z' trope to be particularly tired in this installment but can't remember if it was part of the earlier books] or if I've just almost entirely grown out of the type of 'oh I do that too! how relatable!' humor that this primarily relies on, but this was just okay for me. The panels about cats were very cute as always though.
