Overall, a really enjoyable collection of things. There was nothing here I just didn't like.

"Paperclips and Memories and Things That Won't Be Missed": Short story. I really enjoyed this one. It's brief, but an original take on ghost stories/hauntings that's going to stick with me.

"Falling Leaves": Short story. I liked the world building, but the characters never quite connected for me, though I liked very much that it's a story about female friendship. I didn't feel like the author stuck the ending, though.

"Not Smart, Not Clever": Short story. I really enjoyed this one and I could've read a lot more about the main character, Lin. Academia, plagiarism, identity.

"Finding the Next Lost: What Is An 'Operational Theme' and Why Don't I Have One?": Essay/editorial. I don't agree with Grillo-Marxuach about how great Lost was (yes, it stuck it out through many seasons, but people, including me, were very dissatisfied with the storytelling along the way) but the thrust of the essay is really interesting and smart and actually gave words to something I'd been thinking about for years.

The interview with Anneliese Juegensen was very interesting in that I didn't realize I'd seen her art before, on Tumblr. I really loved the cover art, it's so evocative and yet whimsical but not childish...but I didn't realize she'd also done some art I'd admired greatly before, like the old mermaid with the grey whale.

"Microbe": Short story that felt more like an episode from a bigger work, though in a good way. I really loved the world building and technology and the characters. I downloaded a sample of one of the author's books immediately after finishing the story.

"Likeness": Poetry. This one just did nothing for me, but I'm not a big poetry person.

"Crashdown": Poetry. This one I REALLY liked. Kind of reminded me of a sci-fi ee cummings.

"she's alive, alive": Poetry. Another one I REALLY liked, about the Bride of Frankenstein.

"Graveyard Rose": Poetry. I've been reading Sparrow Hill Road, the companion book to this poem and I actually liked the poem much more than I'm liking the book.

"Afterparty": Novel excerpt. I wasn't sold by the prologue, but once it got into the actual story, I went and downloaded a sample of this, too, with the intention of buying it. Shades of Elizabeth Hand, but more readable/lucid.
