This story unfolds like the first summer rain. Humidity increasing over weeks, dark clouds gathering slowly until all the rain starts pouring out of nowhere, all at once. Haigh delicately tells this story, with undoubtedly complex subject matter and characters. It is a careful portrait of a troubled family in dire circumstances.
