in the very beginning of this book i knew it was gonna be a 5 star read. first of all chase and bailey are so cute, i love them so much. chase is definitely on top of my favorite book boyfriends. anyways this book had me on edge with each chapter having something that made you look forward to the next chapter. there was always something happening, fortunately not to the point where it was too much. something that i wish that could’ve been better was the time period when chase and bailey got together. i’m talking about chapter wise and this book is a long one. they didn’t officially get together early on, but there was a good chunk left of the book. i’m not complaining though as i enjoyed reading this book the whole time. it had me wanting to read more and more. i will reread and recommend this book to others!! <3

It was good, but way too long, considering nothing really happened in the middle-to-end section... The romance was cute, but there was a definite lack of that excitement factor that keeps you reading till 4am.
Absolutely loved everything about this book. I felt every emotion bailey and chase felt. And i won’t spoil it but the ending had me happy crying
Okay, listen. I wanted to like this. I really did.
But this felt like I accidentally walked into an American high school hallway in a Wattpad fanfic from 2012… and not the good kind.
Like—how many times can a man call someone "hot" before it loses all meaning??? (Spoiler: the MMC said it like a hundred times. I counted. Mentally.)
The plot had potential but got buried under unnecessary drama™ and weird pacing. Side characters? Cardboard cutouts with vibes. Zero depth, no backstory, just vibes.
And the emotional connection? I kept waiting for it to hit... it never did.
2 stars because I did finish it (barely), and I’m trying to be a nice little book fairy. But honestly? I need a palate cleanser, a brain cell massage, and maybe a full-body cringe detox.
