This was okay. Probably longer than it should be. It took me a while to finish it. Not particularly memorable. I nearly abandoned it. If you like a bit of spice in your romances. This is entry level.

This should be my third read of Offsides, and at this point I'm going to stop counting how often I read it. I love this book, and I haven't read anything by Avery I haven't adored. Would recommend to anyone looking for college/sports romance.
bailey and chase are soooo cute! i love their romance, their love for another and the way they open each other up in ways they never have been.
this story was really nice, although in some places it felt a bit rushed or like we could’ve seen more details on certain things - like with avery’s guilt over her parents house. it felt like it was going to be this big thing in the book but then it kind of just disappeared and got brought up again once later on. would’ve loved to have seen derek and bailey’s relationship healing as well.
overall i enjoyed the book. loved the secondary characters too - dallas and siobhan especially! i really enjoy bailey and shiv’s friendship. also the way chase and bailey call each other carter and james is adorable
