Everything that happened could have easily been condensed to 200/300 pages. No hockey romance needs to be 600+ that's just ridiculous.
Anyway Chase was amazing. Love that guy. Bailey was fine. Although a bit bland tbh. I didn't like that he called her James all the time though, like dude... That's your girlfriend. Don't call her by her last name, which is a fucking guys name, like she's one of your hockey bros. Ugh it was so cringe lol.

Pacing was very slow and the spice made it unbearable at times; it wasn’t part of the plot and ended up skipping around 3/4 scenes as they just didn’t add to anything.
