🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ I couldn't believe how much I loved this story and the world Avery Keelan made. I love hockey college romances, and some can be really farfetched, but this was just the right amount of plot and banter and spice for me. I loved how Chase and Bailey just clicked and I'm a sucker for their enemies to lovers trope. I haven't felt this excited about an author since Elle kennedy

I read this as a palate cleanser after a book about 9/11 and because I was promised it was spicy. And it was! It took over 200 pages to get to the spice, but we did get there, and THANK GOD it wasn't a fade to black.
It's smut so let's be honest: the writing was cheesy, riddled with mistakes and incredibly low-brow but that's kind of what I was looking for. The rampant typos did slightly detract from my overall enjoyment but I went in with low expectations so I'll let it slide.

3.5 ⭐️overall, a decent romance novel. The ending of the book was great; I did not expect the twist. Main weakness is the book is too long! Definitely could have cut it down as it got kind of repetitive. It wouldn’t have diminished the love story journey. Also the FMC is so boring lol.
