It was a typical hockey romance with third ask break up… enjoyable but predictable

3🌶️ this was such a fun listen. The story was a rollercoaster of a ride. I loved seeing Carter and James develop a relationship at a natural more realistic rate. The way Chase changed through just being friends with Bailey. The friends in this story were so fun too. I wanted to punch everyone on Luke's side of the breakup but I'm glad Bailey was able to step up for herself and remember she deserves better than that. Overall the book wasn't groundbreaking in anything new but I gobbled up every single trope in this one 😂😂

I very much enjoyed this book but did feel like it was dragged out some. While I loved the romance and spice, at times I was like why are these details important. The ending felt a little rushed and I wish that we are gotten the ending sooner and more about what came after. But it was good and I would still recommend it to people.

Meh. This book wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t the best in its class of hockey romances. Honestly doesn’t even crack top 5. That being said, the plot was good. I would have liked to see Bailey gain more confidence and grow more throughout the book.
