Don't even. I'm completely obsessed with Chase and Bailey.
First sport heavy romance and I could read a million books on these two.
The quotes, the writing, everything. Character development, side characters, tension of hockey games.
I could seriously reread it a thousand times over and over.

DID NOT FINISH: 73%

Not going to rate it because I didn’t finish it.

Overall, the writing was okay, but the book was just WAYYY TOO LONG for me. I felt like the plot wasn’t moving anywhere and I was literally just reading the daily comings and going’s of these characters lives. Needed a little more editing imo.

I really tried, but it's official: hockey romances aren't for me.

This book was ridiculously and unnecessarily long. And I felt like too many things were treated more like an afterthought.

It was good but at some points felt like it was dragging on.

Chase and Bailey

First of all, I’m going to say that I absolutely loved Chase’s devotion to Bailey. He’s 100% boyfriend material. I obviously hated the 3rd act breakup and the way he broke up with Bailey… Yes, he deemed it necessary, but ugh .. Bailey was a sweet character, I was glad she had her own things to deal with and the book didn’t only focus on their relationship.

But, question …. did the book need to be so long? I enjoyed the story, but it could have been like 200 pages shorter..at least!
