Pensé que iba a ser un libro de 5 estrellas, pero salí un poco decepcionada. Inició bastante bien, me tragué las primeras páginas, pero eventualmente perdió el ritmo y se volvió un poco pesado a ratos.

Tiene personajes muy interesantes, pero no me terminó de encantar el camino de la protagonista, las batallas terminaban muy pronto y se sentía como si te cortaran páginas en los momentos que más potencial tenían.

Esta historia avanza muy rápido, creo que si estuviera un poco más desarrollada, sería muchisimo mejor, porque el argumento realmente no tiene desperdicio.

One of the most powerful books I have read in a long time. Arguably this book has every element that I wish for in a book: a strong genderqueer + lesbian protagonist, epic historical fiction & mythology.

I felt like the writing quality was lacking during the middle section and dragged on A LOT which pains me to rate this book less than 5 stars.
