Mystery, assassin/spy school, secret society. Everything I love in a book. This was such a fast paced read and I loved every part of it. Highly recommend this series! Onto the second book now!

Made me feel like I was reading Harry Potter for the first time. Loved this!

So, it took me about three weeks to get through the first seventy pages of this book. I personally found it started incredibly slow, and I found the main character a bit unlikeable. ****But, after the first seventy-odd pages, I began to really enjoy this book. The main character isn't my favorite, but I warmed up to her a bit more, and found myself intrigued by many of the side characters. Definitely planning to check out the next book in the series!

Definitely not one to miss for fans of The Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter and "Truly Devious" by Maureen Johnson!

While there were times when I was very frustrated the characters didn't let November go home as she so frequently requested, the twists and turns in this story were fresh and the end really picked up into a fun adventure. Honestly, the kind of YA thriller that I would happily read on the beach (or anywhere else for that matter). And there's a sequel!!!
