This was a heartwrenchingly good book. The circumstances that brought Hugh & Oscar together definitely had me reaching for tissues a few times, but the smiles made it all worth it. It was a slow burn story, but the way it was written I didn't really miss the heat. I liked that previous Gaynor Beach couples had cameos, but it wasn't necessary to have read their books. I've been enjoying this multi author series.

This is the first book in this series that I've read, and only the second by Gabbi Gray that I've read, and I enjoyed it a lot. This book is more of a 2 on the heat scale so it concentrates more on the story of these two men instead of a lot of steamy scenes. This book is definitely worth a try.
