This book was cute but forgettable.
Favorite part: All the animal love
Least favorite: Hate all the drama and nastiness between women. I get that it was a small town, but I swear every female in that town hated our heroine, and our heroine treated women like trash. Wasn’t a fan of that.

I personally think it was one of the best R.S. Grey's rom-com book and it was so addictive and fun to read. I busted my lungs a dozens time while reading some parts. AND TOTALLY WORTH IT. I should make a list of all the best books by her considering I have read almost half of her books but I'm still aiming to finish the other halves soon. ALSO DEF TRY PICKING THIS ONE.

I’m so sad with how this book turned out. When I was browsing through R.S. Grey’s works, this one jumped out to me — it’s not everyday that you see a hot veterinarian in a book.
The first 30%, I LOVED. I adored it, I ate it up and I was convinced it’d be a 5-star read. Then 60% and I was like, hmmm yeah probably 4-star. And when I ended, here we are.
I think the book fell a bit flat towards the middle all throughout the end. It also felt rushed. I can’t explain why but after reading this book, I wish the story flowed differently. I’m so disappointed because I truly wanted to love this book, I loved the banter, I found them funny but it held back which made the book subpar/lose the potential it had when it started.
I’m still looking forward to more of R.S. Grey books and fingers crossed, the others would be better.
