"you, dear listener, i'm sure cannot imagine what it might be like to live in a world in which books are banned, for surely, such things will never happen in the future. thank thor that you live in a time and a place where people have the right to live and think and write and read their books in peace. and there are no need for heroes anymore. and spare a thought for those who have not been so lucky."

Another fast and fun adventure performed with heart and gusto by the amazing David Tennant and conveying a solid message about the importance of books and wonder of libraries

I have a feeling this book was one she was forced to write to keep the publishers happy. So she decided to write a thinly veiled story about how books are good so read them. A disappointment after the other books and drastically short. At least the end material was fun.

C has read this entire series this month. I'd read a few of them with varying success, but I told her to pick the best one and I'd read it. She gave me this one. Excellent choice! Set in a library, introduces Stormfly, (the girl dragon...who in this version changes color like a mood ring...so girly! lol), and a nice message about the value of books.

I still could live without Big-Boobied Bertha. I find her descriptions to be immature (obviously) and unnecessary, but perhaps my age is showing through. I admit to only glancing through the Dragonese glossary in the back, but C spent a great deal of time giggling over it. All in all, a worthy read!

Tenhle díl byl super, sice dějově jednodušší ale opravdu vtipný. A dobře vymakaný jako ten atlas, podle kterého se díl jmenuje. Těším se na další díl :)
