I've never anything related to Goosebumps but I've seen the television show and I remember I had nightmares about the puppet who came to life and suck the souls of humans to turn them into puppets. Yea what a wonderful childhood.
I saw this in the library and thought it would be cool to read and get into the Goosebumps book even though it was a graphic novel. What a major disappointment.
My ratings:
The Werewolf of Fever Swamp: 4/5
The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight: 3/5
The Abominable Snowman of Pasadena: 0/5
This graphic novel is truly meant for like 12 years and I am almost 20 who wishes he could be 12 again to maybe enjoy this story. I love the illustrations for the first short story, while the other two felt plain or childish.
When it comes to the stories, 1st left me disappointed cause I predicted the ending, the 2nd one was pure crap, and the final one I didn't bother reading cause I hated the graphics and I don't care for anything that deals with Abominable Snowman.
There are more volumes which I should check out based on the quality of its content but for this to be the first volume is rather disappointing. I would believe you would pick the most terrifying stories to capture your reader.
