The characters didn't appeal to me as much as her others normally do... I think I'd like the other books in the series more from what I saw of the rest of the characters. Shame really as the League concept is pretty cool.

These ones sure hit a lot of triggers but the books are so good its worth it just wish real life would have happy endings like these ones. *sigh* Narrator is really good so far too which is so nice compared to the other series of hers

While I really liked this book, I still think League book #2 was much better. The fact that I finished book 2 then picked up book 3 and started reading didn't help. I was still in love with the characters from that book that it felt weird reading all about their kids

The third books in The League Series and supremely awesome. This installment features Devyn, Syn and Shahara's (Born of Fire) son. I, personally, think that, after Born of Fire, this book is the next best in the series, with Born of Night coming in third. Many new characters were introduced in this novel (Hello, most Nykyrian and Kiara's kids). I don't wanna give away anything from the book, so I'm just gonna stick with saying that this book is fantastic and I haven't stopped thinking about it since I finished it. Read it!

Well read because it is part of a series I want to finish. It was better than good but not very good... pretty good. I just thought the end had too many players and everything seemed to fall to conveniently into place. A lot of forgiving and acceptance without any really trust building on one side, but hey it is a romance and there is supposed to be a happily ever after.

This was not as complicated as some of the other plots of Kenyon and that was actually refreshing. Still she had to get in one
Spoilercapture and torture
but that seems par for the course for Kenyon in this series. I hope the future books will go on another tangent than the bad "League" that get the job done, damn the consequences and has really evil players, is after one of the characters and is taking advantage of/manipulating the other. Three for three of the read books have this as the basic plot.

I like the world and the science fiction aspect but really it is much more a fantasy, because there isn't much in the way of futuristic other than the space ships. All the aliens, are fantasy driven, and all the planets, some version of earth like good or bad places already known.
