Ok. I decided to give this author another shot after not really liking My Brilliant Friend (which I really didn’t care for because I felt nothing actually HAPPENED in the book—just a lot of blah blah blah).

So I went in with an open mind knowing not much may happen, but it’ll be a character development.

Did this one on audio, five hours—so not a huge commitment.

So, surprise. Not much happened. But I really felt I was able to go for a deep dive into the main character, Leda. So I didn’t hate it, but I’m probably not going to commit to a longer book by this author.

*spoiler*
Leda is an awful human being. Just a miserable person who’s mission is to make other people miserable too.
