This book was hard. Really hard. Emotionally catastrophic.

This was the emotional story of Sloane, a grieving widow, and Jason, a rising Hollywood music star. It dived into a lot of the issues with being a famous musician and the pressure that puts on the star's family, as well as the grief and rebuilding Sloane went through when she lost her husband. The playlist was 100% the best part of this one, I adored the songs the author chose. In all this was a lot sweeter than I expected, and I absolutely loved Jason as a character. However, it was a bit too dramatic for me - which kept me from connecting with the characters - and I am not a fan of the fall-in-love-in-a-week-and-know-we're-going-to-get-married-asap thing. But all in all this was a fun romance, even if maybe it's not something I'll remember.
