i loved the way jimenez portrayed finding love after grief of losing a loved one. it was realistic and its unpredictability was so fitting. i also loved the way she incorporated maltreatment by music industries and a glimpse into the realities of carrying that much fame; it was rly interesting to me since i hadnt been exposed to much of that. this one is ranked a bit lower bc i honestly didnt like how jason reacted in the climax of the plot ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ sighh still a good book and i love abby jimenez. i probably won’t be reading the last of this series bc we met the mc of that novel for like 2 lines max.

I couldn't put this book down! I loved how the perspective went back and forth between Jason and Sloan. It really made me root for their relationship and understand how they felt about one another. Jason's chapters had me swooning!! I only gave it a 4.5 stars because I didn't realize that this followed Abby Jimenez first book the Friend Zone. I spoiled her first book by reading this one, but I still love the writing style and will read to find out what happened.
