Pretty good, but if you're someone who gets really into the paradoxes and mechanics of time travel then this may not work for you. But time travel is the device, not the focus which rightly centers on the story and characters.

Lots of great vignettes through history and nods to important social movements as well which is neat and ultimately relates to the title.

While the concept of a time travelling serial killer is intriguing I found the writing to be slow and it didn't engage me as much as what I thought. I struggled to connect with the characters and while it was centered around the killer, it wasn't a concept that I could get into. The book does has a promise and would recommend to anyone that enjoys thrillers

For the first quarter of this book, I felt like I was forcing myself to continue (I don't give up on a book easily) anyway, I'm glad I did! It's one of the strangest books I've ever read, but it worked!

I don't know how to rate this book, so I'm leaving it at that. I liked reading the book while I was reading.. but didn't ever find myself yearning to pick it up. So while I usually read on my breaks at work, and can finish a book in a few days.. some times I just didn't care to pick it up. If that's confusing, I'm sorry, I can't really explain.

The premise of this book sounded so unique, so intriguing.. a time-traveling serial killer. Girls who "shine".
It just didn't completely work for me. I don't know why. I loved Kirby.. she was the reason why I kept reading.
