I wanted to like this so much more than I did. I remember loving the original Bridget Jones and since I am pregnant as well currently I thought this would be a great read. It wasn't. It tried too hard to be funny and fell flat and it was just overall dumb.

Really fun audiobook production. I laughed a lot. While one never wants to believe Mark Darcy would do Bridget dirty like the setup to the story requires, the resulting chaos is worth the betrayal. Fielding's skewering of the literary scene's vendetta against "chick lit" (she must have taken a lot of flak for it over the years) is absolutely priceless.

I actually really enjoyed this. It was silly, but that's just Bridget.

I love these! I nearly peed myself when she went into labor any they started carrying her. So good!

“This isn’t a popsicle”, I said. “It’s a frozen sausage!”

Absolutely my favorite book out of the series! I love love Bridget and Mark together. Does anyone else pretend the book “Mad About the Boy” is just a bad dream Bridget had and in actuality Mark and Bridget have a long and happy marriage?

Sad to finish the series. Hope there are more Bridget books in the future!

Wanted to read it before the movie came out, but unfortunately was unable to. An easy read, but has lost the spark that the previous Bridget Jones seems to have. In my opinion, it tries (and fails to) have an element of suspense as to the nature of the father, but isn't as successful as the movie in this regard. An okay book giving a great saga a mediocre ending.
