Another great Eddie Flynn book with a jaw dropping twist ! I was hooked till the end. Definitely one of my favorite thriller series. Can't wait to read the next Eddie Flynn book ! I hope someday we get to read a spinoff series of Kate too.

Steve cavanagh is a genius.Every single one of his books is a masterpiece.I've come to love every main character of his.I also love the fact that his books can be read as standalones but also have hidden gems(like the mention of harper in every book after fifty fifty)for those who have read the previous books.Steve cavanagh never fails to amaze me with his clever plot twists and the fact that in the Eddie flynn books, you never know what does Eddie have in his sleve

Eddie flynn and his team take on the case of Carrie Miller who is being tried for being an accomplice to murder with her husband who the FBI believe is a serial killer called The Sandman.  Despite some of the evidence being against her Eddie believes she is innocent and it will be hard to defend her.

But Sandman being back killing off witnesses means that her husband is still alive and killing off people who could testify against his wife and Carrie being scared disappears and breaking bail peotentially sending her to jail.
