Tin Man was my version of a poolside read, given i only read it next to a pool. the lack of quotation marks is annoying to deal with at the beginning, but is an integral part of the storytelling as it becomes a stream of consciousness rather than narration. a charming book and a quick read if you're anyone but me

Beautiful and sad. Heartwarming and heartbreaking. Wonderfully written. Poetic and no word too much. Loved it from the start to the end.

JUST AS HEARTBREAKING AS I REMEMBER! This was probably the first book I read about love and loss so for that reason, it’ll always hold a special place in my heart. After a second read, I realized that the plot does not come as full-circle as I would like, but the story is beautiful nonetheless. Would recommend to everyone until the end of time.

such a beautiful book with such a beautiful love story. I recommend for anyone who loves art, Van Gogh, or The 1 and All Too Well by Taylor Swift. Very fun and interesting to annotate and lots of references to past chapters. If you’re thinking of reading Call me by your name read this instead there’s no gross age gap or fetishized feel !

this is exactly the kind of story i usually adore, but for some reason it just didn't click with me this time. i blame my reading slump. the 2nd half was way more engaging than the 1st one tho
