This book was alright, it kept me interested although it was predictable at times. The ending left me completely unsatisfied though, I feel like there was no real closure. I would have loved more details on what wound up happening once Cecily had proof of what went down on the summit path.

Hike up to the death zone only to have a killer on the loose.

Very suspenseful! The information about mountain climbing was also fascinating. I thoroughly enjoyed the read.

At times I felt like I had hypoxia. The mystery was disjointed, drawn out and also a major let down in my opinion. I figured it out fast, but the reasons I came up with in my head were better than what happened. On the other hand, this is a beautiful piece of fiction that transports you to the mountain. I would have enjoyed it more if it just stuck to that and skipped to the whodunnit.

The story itself was fine. It wasn't as fast paced and heart pumping as I was hoping it would be. I don't know anything about mountaineering so the jargon and technical terms for the equipment and techniques lost me a little bit. The author did explain things as they came up, but it didn't stick with me. Overall, it was just ok. It was fine. I did like how the book ended on the very last page. Otherwise, it was an okay read.
