Ohhhh yeah this was so good!

I really enjoyed both of them not knowing about resonance - amazing.

Corvak was actually surprisingly intelligent. He was not the usual ice planet himbo. He worked with the information he was given and ran with it.

Also the metlacks plot continues. I hope we don't hear from them for ages now pls. Enough stinky metlacks.

As usual with Rubys books, this was funny and heartwarming. We finally find out what’s going on with the Metlaks! Corvak is such a sweetie and he really is trying to do his best based on the information he has; it’s just unfortunate that the information he has is the complete opposite of what he should be doing. Aidy is strong in her own way, does she just follow what Corvak says? Yeah kinda. But she listens and has a gift of communication even with the Metlaks. Kinda cool to see.

I enjoyed this one! The metlak storyline was a new and fun addition
I really liked aidy, she was clever and sweet. Quite liked covak too
I'd probably reread this one, it was cute
Although I am disappointed it wasn't more ancestor storyline slightly
Also icehome would love to know about the warm water cave! And croatoan
That reminded me of the original cave and that was sweetly nostalgic
