I love when a new Not-Hoth book comes out- I adore every spin off series from the IPB universe and this one was a great addition to the Clones series.

Corvak is a strong lead right off the bat— all green flags, even when he’s being a possessive “alpha male”. Aidy was so fun and pretty realistic imo on the stresses of being in constant survival mode.

They’re a well matched couple right from the start, so this was a nice summer read with no angst and mostly fluff.

That said, the metlaks DID stress me tf out, but that’s mostly due to my own anxieties reflected with Aidy’s pov. Overall, another Ruby Dixon ace and you bet I’ll be back for the next round 🩵📖
